This flyer had been tucked away in a vintage catalog since 1929, and its condition is near perfect.  A double sided promotional piece to advertise up-coming features at the Fox Avon Theatre in Watertown, New York.  The film, “Illusion” features Charles “Buddy” Rogers - future husband of megastar, Mary Pickford.  “The Two Black Crows” features the blackface duo Moran & Mack in “their first talking picture.”  On the flipside, at the Fox Olympic Theatre is Helen Morgan in “Applause,” directed by Rouben Mamoulian, his first film and technically innovative. This was a mailer and therefore has horizontal folds. A treasure for any film buff.
